The bling consists of a couple Tshirts and a ball cap, not a whole lot to get excited about unfortunately. More is supposed to be coming in the future though.
Thanks! I added quotes to my first post to indicate what was sent to me. I've got a hunch the selection in Europe will always be different than usa, at least it has in the past as far as I can tell.
From the July 2009 dealers meeting: These are things available through your dealer that can be ordered from Italy. My understanding is these same products will be available at a lesser cost in the future but they will be the same products.
Husqvarna US is looking into other sources for apparel because the stuff from Italy is so expensive, and they are working on a hard parts catalog. We have part #s for the Italy stuff but it would be put on back order and a long wait to get what is left. Hold tight things are in the works, now would be a good time to let it be known what you would like to have available, How many of you would buy expensive riding pants? Would you plunk down the money if they had a Husqvarna jacket?! Coffee what do you think lets get a post going about what people would REALLY buy and what they would be willing to spend a little more on to have available.
I already plunked down money for a Husqvarna jacket (Sinisalo brand through Motosportz), even though it's a bit roomy on me and I'd like the Husky emblems to be more prominent. Must say it's a stunningly good looking jacket though. Bought pants and jersey too, all nice quality and good design. I just want big ol' giant Husky graphics on everything.
That was the hall mark of the old Husky Products apparel line from the 80's. BIIIIG H's everywhere. I am with ya' on that Joe
Good idea. Trouble is how the question is worded would sort of determine the answers. Would you have interest in buying a Husqvarna cap? (no pic) -> yes, depending on what is looks like and price. Would you have interest in buying this cap? -> some will say yes, depending on price Would you buy this cap for $35? -> Probably but that is a little pricey Would you buy this cap for $15? -> Many will say yes. My hunch is these items are aftermarket sales items, I'll look into wording a question appropriately.
Where do we get the Husky stickers that cover up the mouths as shown on the first manequinn? I have a few buds on orange bikes that those would work perfect on...anyhow ........it is a testament to the Husky rider in USA that the flip flops wern't "removed" from the table at the show. Friend of mine does trade shiows for a product at MC venues and loses stuff to evil hands at every show. Joe
It is my understanding that those same products will be available in the future but at a lower cost. In addition to those products these are now available and located in the Husqvarna NA parts facility. Ha, I had one of those KTM toasters, but every time it got a little warm the coolant would boil over.
Just FYI, There is a bunch of links in the 'general aftermarket' thread for european clothes and gear and schwag. The German and the French Husky importers are notable in that each have impressive stuff worth looking at if you are in the market for Husky themed 'stuff'. Right now in the Husky world it seems like its up to the various importers and a few intreped dealers to have gear made for their region. Maybe Husky NA will come out with a line of stuff someday, or at least get TLD or MSR or FLY or No FEAR or whoever to wip up some Husky themed stuff, give it a part number, and put it in the warehouse. Like the French and Germans have done. Worth looking at their websites. Just sayin.
We have the T's and hats but like BMWHusky said nothing to exciting (would like a little more "flash" for what they cost). But I guess it is better than nothing right now.
I'd like to see it, too! I really like that one from the UK, but for $238+ it better make me look like Sophia Loren and ride like Antoine Meo... WoodsChick
