We have Tour Master TB-17 Tail Bag's we use on our DRZ's with racks. I wanted to use them on our new TE's. I didn't want to drill, cut or modify the rear fender or any other part of the bike to accept the luggage. So I replaced the rear turn signal bolts with eye bolts to have a hook spot. I put the 1/4" x 2-1/2" eye bolts in a vise and bent then to where they looked good. I ran the front bungie's cross ways under the seat. The seat fit's fine with no interference from the hooks. The rear bungie's hook into the turn signal eyes. We have some lashing straps we use over the top of the bags to secure them from the flex of just the bungie's. I prefer a (sizeable) fender bag over a backpack. Time to wash the bags I think.
