Hi guys in trying to get my carb set up so my sm runs smoothly as possible. What are your carbs setup like? Mine is: Jet sizes: Main= 180 Idle = 50 Start= 50 Atomiser= ab 260 Venturi valve= 300 Needle= k32 Needle 3rd clip Air/fuel 1.25 turns.
Very much the same as you have at the moment --but then I decided ti get a JD Jetting kit for mine --had most of the jets already --But the needles they sell are the hot ticket imho --pity they don't sell them alone--Pulls STRONG-- All the way
I had to turn my air fuel mix out more because it kept dying and was very hard to start. It's very jumpy when trying to hold a steady speed e.g 30mph with very little throttle. I was looking for a jetting kit but can't seem to find one. My carb is a dellorto phm 40
