    G'day guys,
I picked up an 02 360 on the weekend, looking to replace the stock cannon with a smaller silencer, are there any options that are a "slip-on" type arrangement? (ie so I don't need to replace the stock pipe which is in good condition).

    Thanks,
    Dan

Apologies for the dumb question, but will a different silencer require a re-jet of the carby?

Depending on how well tuned you 02 WR360 is and you knowledge on the stock Mikuni carb, probably not, maybe an adjustment on the air screw or possibly the needle height...then again this totally subjective - how does the 360 run now?

The bike is running well (for a novice rider)... though my knowledge of Mikuni carbs is even more lacking than my knowledge of the way women think.
Spose I'll whack the new silencer on and see how she fares. Cheers mate

Stock pipe's pretty good...you want to ditch the expansion chamber and slap on a fmf or procircuit unit to feel a better bottom or top end (depend on which pipe you get).
Keihin 38mm PWK, Wallybean's airboot mod and gearing and you'll have ktm300 rider's asking you what husky is it (thinking it's a 250)...and when you say it's a 360, just watch their faces as they justify why you are able to pull away from them :)

That sounds the business! I've sussed out the Keihin, is there any info handy on the gearing and airboot mod?

    Surge,

I think the airboot/reed stuffer mod is posted over at TT. I will try to find it and re-post here over the weekend just as an FYI in the 2 stroke section.

Big thank you's to Wallybean on the airboot mod....that mod alone smooths out the transitions from 1/4 to 3/4/full and the bike literally pulls much much more than the restrictive original airboot.
