i have looked thru previous chats and pages on here and i found them a little confusing on how to mount a headlight to the front of my 04 cr 125 what i understand is that the cr compared to the wr its not putting out enough watts to run a light and rear light so what would i need to do step by step? do i need a battery? and im looking at a stock 05 wr rear light

im looking at this https://www.denniskirk.com/moose/black-road-warrior-headlight.p214832.prd/214832.sku light just dont know what to do :(

If the '04 is anything like my '08, then you will need to send the stator out to have it wound for lights. Stock, it doesn't have any provision for lights, but a simple procedure by Ricky Stator will make it capable of running lights. You also need to get a wiring harness that includes a voltage regulator. Moose Racing makes a nice setup, complete with hi/lo/off and kill switch. Then just wire up a head and tail light and you're in business.
