Hey guys long time lurker first time poster I recently got my hands on a 2005 Husky SMR 510. So far it's my favourite bike that I've owned and I really want to keep it that way. I use it for a bit of everything but mainly commuting to uni and work which is roughly 40 miles a day, bit less some days and I like to hit the track and do some off roading too once in a while. I had it serviced recently and it's come back with a stutter and feels underpowered at 1/4 throttle etc and has also been cutting out at low revs and when I take off from lights. This seems to be common from what I've read on other forums and people say the JD jetting kits are great for better throttle response and all round power. Is this correct and would anyone else recommend installing one of these jet kits on an SMR 510? What have others experienced with this kit on this bike? I'm new to the motard world and loving it but I just want to know how to get this bike purring 100%. Any info would be very helpful. Cheers!!
