So on every new bike, after 1 season I have the oil changed on the shock and the forks.(they break in kinda like a motor and leave shavings too) I sent out the shock for just a oil change, and I got it back "up graded" The guy removed the piston sys and replaced it with a bladder sys. Said thats what they do for the top off road racers. He told me that it wouldn't change larger stuff too much but much improved on chop.

Anybody know of or had experience with this change?

I converted mine also, but had a revalve done at the same time, so I couldn't tell you if the modification made much of a difference, since the valving changed a lot of things. the theory behind changing the "cookie" to a bladder is, that there is no drag or friction on a bladder to slow the shock absorber's reaction time to a bump down any, compared to a piston which has to drag on the reservoir walls as it moves up and down.
