I just picked up a used 08 TXC 250 and didnt get a manual for it. I would like to know the front and rear suspension clicker settings, how much oil to put in, torque specs, etc. Am I able to find and download it online somewhere or do I need to buy a manual?

Maybe this will help till you find a manual on line ... It is from my 2008 manual ... It covers the TXC, TE, TC SMR .. 250 ,450s & 510 ...

As far as fork oil amount, can't figure that page out but I read here somewhere that 280ml is for the outer tubes and you fill the inner ones to the full

No specs on the torquing but you can for sure over tighten the forks clamps easily to block them from sliding ...

This link was a real eye-opener for me on fork oils :) Oil is just oil ... :)

I've been playing with the clickers (front&rear), fork and shock sag, and fork oil lately and my forks have gotten at least 75% better than when I got the bike ... I'm doing street, trail and small track MX racing ... Jumps are the biggest issue as the forks will bottom too easily so I'm adding fluid to help stop it ... I should add also I was having the rear tire hit the fender also ... This was on smaller 30-35' jumps ... So don't expect it 2 B a jumper ..

No re-valving here... Not n the budget 4 sure and after the improvements I have found, I'm doing OK with these stock parts ... Please remember sag setting cannot be over looked ... Set it all over the place and the bike will respond ... good or bad, I make a change and I can tell on the next ride something happened

One other thing, these bike have issues with a small 0-ring on the slave cylinder on the hydro clutch...If you start having UR clutch go limp after a few miles, it is most likely this issue... All the issues and whatever about this bike are outlined here ... Just do a search :)

PS -- You might have to re-jet the CARB to some degree ... See if the bike has a small O-ring on the accelerator pump arm...if so, someone has been tuning on it :)
