250-500cc 08 WR250 with 07 Compliance

For the first time, I put rego on my 2008 WR250. My frame and engine numbers are 2008, the compliance plate on the frame 07/2007 with all matching numbers.

What is going on with Husqvarna ???????????????????

I now have a 2008 WR250 registered with a 2007 manufacture date. And yes my bike is a 2008 model, Frame #ZCG3H01AB8V######, with black forks, not gold

I know i bought my 07 Husky in Sept of 06, So i'm assuming it was built in '06. If they wanna release a bike early, they gotta have it built. I wouldn't worry about it as its a pretty common. You do have an '08.

They tried building all of them on 1/1/2008, but nobody wanted to work that day...

I also have an '08 WR250. I broke the rear fender a few months ago and found that the 08 would not fit. After searching the net for photos of the '07 fender, It matched my broken one. I guess Husky used an old left over subframe on my bike. Strange stuff for sure.

I think this model was produced around the time of company change of hands, which could explain why. However, I'm still very happy with the bike
