Hi I have a 09 610 and generally I am very happy with it (own it for more than 3 years already) lately I experiance several issues of engine shut down. it won't hold on idle more than few seconds and than shut down, I played with the idle screw a little but it didn't help, the engine runs on higher RPM but still it runs for few seconds, than a small "stutter" and than it shuts down. when riding, if I slow a little bit (before a turn, for example) and RPM goes down and it shuts down. sometimes during the ride I experiance a "choke" of the engine for some seconds (even if I still hold the throttle open, it won't rev up) and then continue normally. I also think that the bike starts a little bit more dificult than before. all this issues are happening on hot engine. when cold, the situation is slightly better. Does someone had such issues? any directions? thanks
I'd start with the basics. Check your valves, breather hoses and exhaust for anything blocking/clogging it up. It's weird that its happening while hot since its an EFI. Carb'd bike's would have problems starting if its hot and too rich
