09 arrow cat convertor removal??

hi all im still a bit green with all this but was wondering about the exhaust. i have a 09 te 510 with power up kit but was curious if the mufler had arrow stamped on it or something. also when removing the cat con is that the power up of the mufler or is it a whole diff mufler and do ya leave the end piece of pipe out or put it back in after removing the cat??

09 comes with PU- its the stock pipe- just remove Cat (08's you had to buy a whole separate slip on)

You have to take the can(muffler) off the midpipe- 2 springs a couple bolts holding to the frame- so you have room to work with-
then you will see the cat in the end of the pipe of the can- it will slide out. reattach.. done

When purchasing a used '09 bike, is there any way to tell if the Cat has already been removed without taking the pipe apart?

Well if the pipe gets extraordinarily hot right about where the stock heat shield stops by the side panel- chances are its still there. Its easy enough to check though by taking apart- I promise it won't take more than 15 minutes

my pipe has a circlip at the end take that off then the pipe comes out then the cat is behind that. do i put the pipe back in without the cat or leave the whole lot out??

should i leave the spark arrestor in then??
