Hey guy's I am thinking about purchasing an 09 WR125 and was curious as to weather or not a battery could be added easily ? Being the 09 125 has the 4T frame/airbox it should be easy to retrofit a battery box from a TE/TXC. I would like to add TE switch gear and signals if I purchase the bike. Yes I may street plate a 2T 125, crazy I know  Also, are the forks the 50mm units from the TC or TE ? Or are they stll the 45's ?
If I purchase the WR125 I'd like to do a big bore once the original top end needs service, so I'm looking for Uptites contact info as well so I can get info about the 167 kit. Any info on Big bore kits is welcomed as well.
My original plan was a TE310 but its 2G's more and I like the idea of a 2T. 2G's buys alot of extras such as handgaurds/rad gaurds/skid plate/Big tank/Guts seat etc. I have my old KLX to ride when my 8 year old boy wants to go trail ride, so I can get something a little more offensive for when I go out with the big boy's....hence the 2T.

Thanks in advance. I'm a slow rider, 6', 190 lbs and realize the 310 would likely suit me better but that WR125 is just soooooo cool.

I've got an '09 WR125 coming to replace my '02. It's going to be a sweet bike. I have a street title for my '02 WR125 and I'm thinking about making it an SM. I had full street equipment on my '00 WR250 with a Baja Designs kit. It had a small dry cell battery as part of the kit. You can also use a battery eliminator if your inspection doesn't require lights on engine off. Putting the battery off an electric start 4 stroke would be overkill in both weight and performance needed. Switchgear off an Euro WRE125 would be the nuts for your project.

50mm forks like TE on '09 WR125. Good luck!
