I'm going to try a 50, 51 or 52 tooth rear sprocket on my 09 WR250 and wondered before I ordered one wether or not it will work with the stock chain guide. Has anyone else had first hand experience with this and if so are there any other things to look out for? If I don't like the gearing or want to change it I can always use the rear sprocket on my GasGas. Right now they are both 13-48.

easier to just buy a 14 front, i use 14-48 for open trail rides. its useless for hill climbing though

I want to go the opposite way. I have 13-48 now and want to go to 13-50, 51 or 52.

I'm at 13-46 on my WR 300. I love it for the MX tracks.

I run a 51 rear and no issues. It is nice as you can go to a 14cs and it is pretty much stock gearing or 13cs for tighter stuff
