Hello all.. I was wondering if anyone knew of any low profile rear blinkers to replace the lofty OEM ones. I have ripped off two already this riding season!
http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/tail-light-for-2012-te-310-turn-signals-too.25881/ I had a 2008 that came with a nice tail-light for enduro...maybe Edge. You can cut down the stock tail-light section and re-mount the plate. There are some LED stalks for turn signals and I've even seem some flush mount ones used .... not sure where those come from. Sometimes there can be an issue with needing a new Flasher because of the LEDs. I'm pretty sure a LOT of guys have taken off the stockers so you could probably get those mailed to you for postage and keep yourself in stock lights for a decade or two. Here you go, story on the flashers and pics of the flush mounted signals....so maybe ask the guy where he got them.... http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/led-relay-will-a-3-lead-relay-work.13436/#post-124548 https://sicassracing.com/store/prod...t_flasher_led_turn_signal_flasher?cPath=46_54 rear only led flashers don't need the smart flasher. all 4 and you do.
Glangston, Thanks for all the valued information. I checked out the sicassracing.com site you had reccommended yesterday and ordered a pair of there flush mount blinkers. I never ordered the relay, so i'm hoping they work well! Perhaps you would know where I could pick up some OEM plastic at? I'm finding it difficult to find certain OEM parts for my Husky. Catang5oh, I have cut down my tail section similiar to yours. What exactly did you do with your license plate light? I thought about remounting it between the brake light and the plate, but figured the light emitted from the brake would be sufficient? Also, what tire combination do you find works best for about 90% dirt riding. I just ordered a pair of Pirelli Scorpion Pro All Terrain/ Enduro, and i'm hoping for the best. I'll post pictures soon! Alert today, Alive tomorrow!
I just rely on the brake light for the tag. So far I have been burning up the Karoo that was stock, I can't take off a good tire till it's toast. Next will be a set of Maxxis 6006 I have hanging innthe garage, got them cheap so we will see.
Someone said dealer prices were pretty good on OEM plastics, so check with Hall's Cycles or a local dealer. UFO plastic for 2011 http://www.ufoplasticusa.com/part.php?brand=2&model=19&year=2011 Might bookmark this thread... http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/general-aftermarket-source-list.1134/ Pretty well updated..
