• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I've seen one on eBay 1 or 2 years ago but couldn't buy it.
Where do you live ?
175 PC pipe are good for 175- 82 bike.
I've read that 125 and 175 pipe in 83 are the same.

any half descent pipe man could whip up a trick pipe for you unless you wish to replicate a "pro circuit "bike.

the 125 pipe is the same from 78 to 82!
i want to replicate for a better result and also have the pro circuit look

hello michel:france .rhones alpes

try geoff morris concepts in Victoria Australia. he makes pipes and has a lot of dimensions on file. google him. even better here his website

OK you must find someone who has one PC pipe to give good measures.
And also find a good pipe maker in France !
Do you have a 175 cylinder ?

PM sent

That bottom picture is my bike with the HP 175 kit. That pipe does not work well with the 125, I tried it with my 125 top end before I put the 175 top end on it. The stock pipe is better on the 125 the kit pipe only works well with the 175 top end. I know many people have used a Suzuki RM125 pipe and made some slight modifications to fit it to the Husky 125, that is basically what the PC pipe was, in fact, I think the first PC pipes were modified Suzuki pipes.

ok kartwheel
many thanks for the advices
nice to know that the pipe don't work well withe the 125 cylinder

someone have try the jemcoexhaust?
sincerely

Yes, that is the pipe. The early PC pipes of '80-'81 look exactly like that, not like the one later like came in the 175 kit. The above pipe needs some slight modification, but will fit without much effort.

Also, I forgot, the 175 kit pipe has a MUCH larger exhaust manifold port and head pipe size, you also have to have the 175 kit manifold to use the pipe. I think the large manifold size is the reason the pipe does not work well with the 125 cylinder.

husky pipe slid over the small exhaust manifold stub. hot ticket was to use the larger one on the 125 (from 250).. The RM pipe fits "into" the RM cylinder. same basic shap ohter wise except the stinger end Husky is straighter and also position of the mid pipe hanger bracket but 1979-80 RM pipe very very close
