i'm about to replace my Motoz Tractionator Enduro S/Ts with another set, love 'em. what do others running these tires on the 125-based bikes run for tubes? standard or heavy duty?

not sure what's on there right now but they didn't feel that thick when i repaired a flat on Sunday (3" roofing nail on the trail, weird) and i've never pinched a tube with the Motoz on... even at 8psi in the rocks. super sidewalls.

are HD tubes just overkill with the Tractionator Enduros? trying to avoid any additional weight if i can.

I like to run the 3mm Motoz tubes. The 4mm motoz tubes are crazy thick and IMHO a bit to much. I ride a lot of roots and rocks and long 50-70 mile days so I want flat protection.

thanks. so i guess you didnt notice any weight or handling changes with the 3mm tubes on the little bike?

i ride roots and rocks too but more in the ~30mi range and never really that far from the truck. think i'm going to give the MSR HD tubes a try. ran some Moose HDs on my TC but still pinched one. (19" rear w/MXMS tires)
