What a difference that few cc's makes!! The sad thing I was the only Husky rider ! Get alot of looks and questions being on a husky! Thankyou Halls for everything. And thankyou Itaska Thunder for sponsoring me!!

Hey congrats. I am getting ready to put a 144 on my 08 CR125 Husky so how much more power do you feel it adds and where in the band?

Congrats on the race results, fletchman :applause:
Way to represent the rockin' 144 :)
I'm thinking that maybe I might want to rack up a few good results myself this year...

Nice. That has to feel good on the little chain saw. People underestimate that bike all the time. Love it.

you werent the only husky rider. i was there just not on my husky.

that was great enduro though! man i was whipped by the end of that 55 miles!

got there way late, 9:05, just in time to sign up, put gear on, unload my bike and sound test. after sound test i had 3 minute to wait at the line up before they started me on minute 41. i figured i did terrible since i didnt have time to set up my time keeping stuff. all i had was an odometer!

got to the 2nd to last check and asked how things were looking and was informed i had burnt every check, oops! so i burnt all but the last 2, not so bad i guess, haha. that last 20 miles did me in. in the 1st mile wrapped 10 feet of barbed wire up in my bake wheel. had a 3rd gear dismount when i took a cornner a bit tight and got the tree dead center with my bars (dont worry the bike was fine) and got tossed over the front. that took quiet a bit out of me.

after that i was in limp home mode, took a couple breaks for water and to catch my breath.

got back to the pits and headed home. checked their sight and found i finished the day with 175 (yeeeeeesh) points, good enough for a 3rd place finish. so if you know any of the club members could you pick up a 3rd place trophy for lite B?!?!?!?!

Thanks all!! Wait a minute dude, what the heck you doing there on a ktm??? Do not crash in front of me because I'll use the orange bike for traction and a little jump as well!!! Just kidding I guess (I'm the biggest ktm hater you will ever meet, and if a genie gave me 3 wishes one would be that back in around 91 when they were going bankrupt no one would have helped them out!!!) The 144 power is awesome!! Halls jetted mine and I have to say to me there is MORE power EVERYWHERE!! On my 125 my buddy (ex double A rider Bill Slominski would always just beat me, on the 144 with revalved suspension (a little softer then the 125) I beat him by 3 minutes!! The 144 is soooo much easier to ride then the 125 and I'm and A rider. If anyone needs a cheap 125 I'm selling mine soon and getting another 144 or 11 150. People do underestimate the little buzzzz saw. Ralf passed me (I think he got 3rd overall and I wicked it up and stayd with him for a ways!! Not the bikes fault but my 45 year old body sometimes does not put out like it should. If I'm around next year I'm going to make a run for double A. In better shape I think I can do it!! And because Husky doesnt give the 250 a new frame I'll do it on a smallbore!! Anyone with a 125, when it wears out my advice would be to grab a 144 kit!! Thanks ALL. HUSQVARNA ROCKS!! I will try to post a picture

no wonder i didnt see you! you had a 30 minute head start on me!

i keep an eye out for odd ball bikes, husky, bergs, betas n the like. saw everything but a husky up there, kind of cool since everything in iowa is orange or blue t seems.

ive used a ktm for traction once this year, youd be better off going around as they are quiet slippery!

I have never seen a Beta but would like to. I still will not take the going around option!! But I know they are slippery! You gotta get up earlier, I can not believe you pulled it off with such a small amount of time!
