I need a replacement piston/rings. Is OEM the way to go or are there better aftermarket options?

I was told by Bill's Husky that the stock piston/ring is very good quality.

    Many. Too many.
I used a stock B piston in my A cylinder. Top quality. I couldn't find the part# on the microfiche, I had to call (Hall's) to get it they had A B C pistons in stock.

Looks like I have an "A" cylinder. What's the difference between A-C pistons?

Lol, I didn't even ask, I'll find out when I get the invoice. I trust Dan and Ann at Motoxotica so I'm sure the price will be competitive with other dealers.

There are a number of piston's that work well with the Husky 144. Some take head work but offer other benefits. Bottom line is that the OEM piston is one of the best forgings you can get period for any bike.
