    Sorry if this has been discussed before but i couldnt find it. When you upgrade a cr125 to a 144 do you have to modify the powervalve or head or is it a case of boring out the cylinder and fitting a 144 piston?

    Yes, they have to be modified. Usually the company doing the job does it. In the case of the OEM kit, proper powervalves are supplied.

    Cool, thanks. If it was going to be as simple as new piston and bore I was going to go 144 but might think of a 167 in that case.
