125-200cc 144 silencer sound

Would like it if anyone could tell me if there is a big noise difference between the power core and turbinecore silencer. Hope someone has owned both and had to deal with db test at the races. Thanks in advance

The key is keeping them packed and dry.

A blown out silencer is going to be louder.

The turbine core has an added spark arrestor which should make it a little quieter than the powercore all else being equal but I never heard of a person buying a SA just for 1 db less noise. The muffler is the same on both silencers, the T-core has a extra SA on the end and is 3 inches or so longer.

In NH you are bound to go on rides that require a SA at some point.
