Guess after riding the new WR125 this weekend i need to get that cylinder off and sent to Walt so I can experience this 165. All I know if if the fun factor is as good as the 125 I'll have a permanent grin :D

You will look like Jack in his roll as the Joker in the Batman movie . I let my oldest grandson (13 years old) ride my WB165 this weekend for the first time now ..................he wants IT! So be careful who you let ride it.

My 2008 cr165 has convinced me it is so good that I had to buy another(with Husky uncertain future) just so I have a back up when my 2008 wears out which seems like it might be long time with the way it ran last race again. I own a 2012 KTM 250 sx and if I had to choose one bike it would be the cr165 and the KTM 250sx is a great bike just not as fun to hard edged were cr165 is fun no mater what I use it for. Only thing not sure about is how the wr will ride compared to cr not sure I want flywheel weight bigger tank, kickstand, 18 inch rear ttire. image.jpg

I am picking up a 2013 CR144 to go with my 09 125, I would gladly trade you the wheel and tank. They are from a demo bike but with 4 hours, they should be almost new.

The newer WR tank isn't as big as old 08 CR tank - I dont think .

Looks like you are right my 2008 does have a 9.5l tank the same as the 2013 wr so that is why my 2008 would go so far on a tank it is big for a mx bike.
