does anybody know of a direct electronic ignition replacement for a 1973 wr450 femsa pionts ignition large diameter shaft. pvl do not list one and a motoplat is no where near fitting. do not need lighting either. only way is to fit a cr crank pin but seems a lot of work when motor is good.

You might want to look at husqvarnaoutlet.com they have some listed in the mzb ignition section for the .755 size shaft

a motoplat should bolt right on..i installed one on my 67 360 viking, no trouble at all.
as long as you have the correct stator plate that fits the case..you should be fine.

looked in my notes,,some of the pre 75 bikes had a larger crank stub, however, they did make a motoplat flywheel for that stub,,you just have to measure and watch for one..

I hope you've sorted it by now.

I would suggest you phone them and get some tech advice.
