1980 390 trans.

ok!..... getting this thing back together tonite! after i go fishing!!..correct me on this if i'm wrong!! it's a 6 speed, so that means box in 4th, stepfeeder showing 2 above, 1 below the shift drum? or should the box be in 3rd?? havn't done this since i was a teeny-bopper, that one didnt turn out pretty!! thanks all!
