So I'm working on rebuilding a hacked wiring harness on a 80 WR 250. What is the intended purpose of the white lead coming from the stator? It seems to have the same output as the yellow lighting lead.

Thanks!! Thats what I thought, but wanted to make sure.

Anyone know the bulb number for the OE headlight? So far I've tried a H4 P43T 35/35W and a 6245BA 45/45W with no luck. Maybe a H4 P45T? I can't seem to find that in 35/35W... I also need a white light insted of the OE yellow as it will be ridden some on the street.

Just been to look at my spare bulbs. There does not seem to be anything to tell me the type.
They have two flat tangs on the body. One is slightly wider than the other. I tried 35/35w in mine, but there is not enough output to run that and the stop/tail (21/5w) with the AC horn. We need all of that in the UK ! I opted for a 25/25 headlamp bulb
and a battery operated horn from a mountain bike.
I thought one of the wires from the Motoplat was for the kill switch ??
