I was wondering if anyone has ever dyno'd a factory xc500 or if anyone knows what they were rated for rear wheel horsepower stock from factory? Thanks again for all your helps guys.

I remember a YouTube vid of Italian guy who dyno'ed his 500. It was setup for hooligan motard riding. Can't remember the HP he got... Maybe 50hp?

I looked at the link provided in the previous posts, the information on the bike on the dyno says it's a 430. I was hoping to find something on the 500, even the factory suggested hp rating.

Dyno = rear wheel hp. The hp is higher than the dyno says. My car was 299hp at the rear wheels. The tech said I'm losing 100hp through the drive train. That's 25%. So possibly the bike dyno results maybe 25% higher?

I'm talking about rear wheel dyno number not an engine dyno off the crank

Right but we need to factor in the hp loss through the drive train. Rear wheel hp isn't the true hp at the crank.

So what? The rear wheel is what puts the horsepower to the ground so that is far more accurate that crank HP.

I like to know both the hp at crank and the rear wheel hp. The rear wheel hp is the one that matters.
But saying my cr500 has 55hp at the crank that's impressive to non gear heads over saying I have 44 hp at the rear wheel.
