Hello guy's,I just acquired this bike this weekend.I have been away from dirt bikes for a long time.Lets just say my last bike was a capra 250 montessa about a 74 vintage.So.... I will be needing alot of advice on the rebuild of this 430.
It's missing a bunch of parts.
    the missing:
    expansion chamber(pipe)
    all ignition parts
    chain
    front sprocket
    shift lever
    kick start
    water pump cover
    chain tensioner thingy
    front sprocket cover
    fuel tank plastic fairings
    piston ring.

Going by the id plate the engine is a WR
the jug is off and freshly honed.

Do you all think I should save this for a parts bike and find a more complete bike,or do up this one because they are kinda hard to come by?

If you look at the swing arm which has a decal saying motocross, the lack of a frame loop over the fender, the upside down forks and probably some brake stuff but I can't see for sure I think you have a cr version motorcycle. Maybe it had a different engine at one time.

It is missing some roller wheels for the chain what I would call a tensioner never was on any of the aluminum swing arm versions.

Your list isn't real serious in my opinion. I would suspect your silencer is either off the list or could be identified to narrow down the model it came from. I see the ignition components. I know some folks hone a cylinder and get a new ring. Have you determined that the wristpin isn't loose in the piston and the slot for the ring in the piston is fresh enough to go that route. I suspect most commonly used hones put more abrasion on the lands between the ports than elsewhere.

    CR frame
    WR engine from an 87
They made both a CR 430 and CR 500 in 87.
Frame is definite CR as Fran points out "specifics".
Forks are also a CR as the WR used old swedish conventionals as opposed to CR used WP USD's

Here is a 87 CR pic for reference.

Not rare. In my opinion part it out. Will cost several hundred to get running and a couple grand to be even a 7 out of 10 restored.

I have a useable pipe. One thing I would be concerned with would be how long and how grungy the crankcase is from sitting with no jug? I would highly recommend a case split, cranks seals. Probably alot more work and $$ than finding a nice rider and use that one for spares.
