I bought this bike a couple months ago for cheap, having owned a bunch of big 650 hondas it was a nice change for the tight stuff. Anyhow, its plated for the street out here and in overall great shape and runs good.

However, the previous owner in all of their brilliance welded the CS sprocket onto the lay shaft. This angers me and does not instill confidence out in the desert. I found the lay shaft for about $120 new, I can't find a gasket set though...is there a kit for WR/CR that will work? Also, what is my best bet for crank bearings and oil seals? I might as well replace them while I have the cases split, even though it was supposedly completely rebuilt 25 hours ago

Here is a picture of the husky, and bonus KX500 with a 1mm over wossner just installed :)

Forgot about this post, thanks for the info. The bike sat for most of the year, I bought a beautiful original owner 2003 KX500 and couldn't stop riding that.

I fixed the countershaft bolt, got a new tank on the way, and am resealing the whole top end right now.

I was going to buy the gplus 2006-11 wr300 silicon hoses, will these fit with a little encouragement? Or if anyone has a set of stock rubber hoses in good shape for sale...
