I am replacing engine gaskets and have a question. I notice there is a gasket where the power valve block mounts to the cylinder but no gasket between the block and the outer housing (the part with the adjustment screws). Does this need any sealer? When I disassembled it there was a light coat of RTV. Thanks

You can seal it but, there is no drain in the PV cavity so the excess fluid builds up till its full, not the greatest design... i just let the fluid seep out the cover joint and clean it when necessary.
