    Hello all

I'm new to the site, so bare with me if I'm posting this again

I recently bought a 99 cr125 which had some carbs issues , I got it running ok but seems to be fouling plugs a lot, very boggy low down until I can get the revs then it's fine.

I'm unsure if the correct carb is fitted, has a mikuni tmx. I only say this as I bought a new throttle cable and it didn't fit it was far too short, was labelled for a 99...

But also if anyone can recommend jet sizes with the fatty would be much appreciated

    Thanks nathan

another option would be contacting fmf..they will be able to suggest jetting. shouldnt be too far from stock i wouldnt imagine

I am throwing this out there and it is cactual, its a 1999 you may (most likely) be chasing your tail with jetting best be sure all the other mech stuff is in order, piston, rings compression, plug, ignition, crank seals, water pump seals, power valve, clogged pipe, reeds, etc etc etc trying to set jets around a mechanically old worn machine will be a waste of time. If you look up the OEM jets and install them with all the oem settings the thing will run if all else is in order, anything else is just fine tuning, if you check the FMF jetting guide you will find that most bikes are within 1 jet size or no change from oem settings .
