    Hope someone can help me.
It looks like i have to change clutchbasket and the plates on my bike. I had problems with drag when it was cold, and if i stoped for a while.
I changed oil, etc. Its better now, but to fix it i guess i need these parts...
Plates didnt look that good, and the basked had some grooves. Nothing crazy. I'm thinking of taking a pic. later.

Im having trouble with finding the parts i need (i live in norway), found plates but no basket.
If im not wrong people are using plates for honda cr 500 etc, and\or parts for a newer model?
    What years husky-parts will fit a 99mod?

Someone that can give me some info about this? Looks like a 99 mod is a strange year for husky.
Off-topic. Is there a dealer that have plastic for this model???

Btw. sorry for bad english. :p

I put friction plates from Honda crf450 on my WXE 250 94, i thing the steel plates from crf wil work too. Try to filling basket with key-file if yo can not find new basket, it will postpone basket change. Try to use ATF Type F for trans oil.
    Goog luck.

    Ok.:)
How many plates did you use?
My wr has 8 plates, manual-drawings has 7. What is up with that?

I used the 2001 era Honda Cr250 clutch pack in my '99 CR250 (same clutch as yours) and needed an extra fiber plate. The Honda pack came with 7 and i needed 8 for my clutch. What oil are you running? I had clutch drag when I ran 10w-40 oil that went away when I switched to a 50/50 blend of that and ATF.

I use 5w-40. It got better when i changed the oil. I can put it in gear now without killing the engine. But its not 100%.
    Gonna try atf.
Btw, i was wrong about the number of plates. My bike has 9, and the manual shows 8. But it still fits, i find that a litle strange.
The plates in my bike has a "Q" inprinted on them. Does this ring a bell for any of you?

    Thanks for your help.
