I know the question of DS tire choice has been beat to death. But if you had 2 sets of wheels what would you put on them? One set for pavement/gravel road and the other for gravel/dirt road/trail. I think the latter is a no-brainer just use my favorite Bridgestone knobby, not sure about the pavement. Any suggestions?

For roads (gravel/pave) I'd either run a TKC front and Mefo rear or if more pave and twisties Pirelli scorps MT-90's A/T front and rear.

Still figuring out the knob choices but it looks like you know where you wanna go there. I'd like to have a second set of wheels. Envious!

I have street tires on one set and dirt-biased DS tires on the other. The street wheels are 17's...

I'd kill myself or lose my license with sticky 17's

I've somehow managed to avoid being pulled over yet despite my best efforts...

I just ride the bike with the 17's on it like a normal person. ;)

It's fun to ride, and the limited power keeps me from hurtling into danger. Just a good old fashioned motorsickle.

+1000. It's really nice to just ride the thing! No worries about lap times or race lines... Just grip and go!!
