as the title reads im trying to tune jet a carb on a 2000 te610 with a full uptite performance exhaust and twin air filter. it idles nicely and low to mid is good but power really falls off after 5k and when you whack the throttle open it hesitates backfires then starts to accelerate, its got a 175 main and a 52 pilot and it looks like where the ecceperator pump should be the is a plate that is riveted to the carb. i could use lots of insight thanks, chris

I have the same carb on my ATK 490. Works well. No AP. About the same jetting. Try a larger main. The needle is super EZ to adjust as well so i would play with that. I was going to replace the carb before I rejetted it but now with it rejetted i like it.
