2000 Te610 Oil Capacity

Can some one clear up how much oil a te610 2000 model takes. It’s left kick only. I drain via the banjo and filters,
Lay the bike over but only get 1 litre in on the refill till oil comes out the weep hole. I have the manual for the te610e and it says 1.6 litres but I’m thinking it may be different
