    how do i know my cdi and stator are in good shape.

    WR250 SM250
    CDI have to be tested using the manufacturer's rig, so if it goes faulty then its a swap out.
    Stators can be tested using a multimeter to check the slow running coils for kickstarting and the fast running coils for lights/charging.
