I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I am thinking I just need a new cable...I assume they stretch over time. I could put a new disc on as well. Wondering what other upgrades people have done.

I would have never noticed this except on my 09 wr300 the front brakes are SO much better.

We are putting the 165 kit on this bike so would like to get these brakes up to snuff as well.

    Thanks for any ideas.

if your brakes feel soft it is typically air in the system, brake lines don't stretch very easily as they are wound with support and the line itself is usually a higher tensile line because of the pressures
check your fluid level and be prepared to bleed it

brake fluid gets old too...should be replaced every or every other season...just easy preventative maintenance

Thank you. I don't think it's a fluid issue. I change and bleed pretty regularly. However I will be sure to do again before bike is back together and maybe that will be it.

I have recently replaced the pads as well.
