Hi all tottaly new here, if anybody could help. I have a 2005 510 smr I've owned it for a couple years and it rode great, after summer I stripped it down and clean it etc didnt touch the engine or carb, but now I've just started it for the first time and it is running rich and exhaust headers are glowing aswell as chucking out black smoke etc plug is fowled what would be a cause of this dirty /old fuel carb needs a clean?? Thankyou
Yes good carb clean. Headers usually glow you can especially see it at night but sounds like you are flooding it out stuck needle? Check your oil and see if there's fuel in it also.
