New to me 2006 TE 610. Front brake howls terribly loudly under braking... Thoughts on resolving that? Probably stock pads as the bike only has 3500 miles on it...
How's your fork seals? They ever leak enough to get fork oil on the rotor or pads? You could try new pads and give the rotor a good cleaning. Or, you can try a brake bedding step first if you don't think they've ever been contaminated. Here's a link to stop tech white paper on the subject. http://www.stoptech.com/technical-s...ions-and-procedures/stock-brake-system-bed-in You obviously need somewhere safe to do this.
I swapped to EBC HH sintered pads early on, front and rear, that fixed the issues I had with brake shudder and gave a more positive bite.
