OK, was running the SMR at the track last night and it just stopped on me. It appears it's an electrical issue but I'm not positive. I can hear and feel the fuel pump solenoid activate when the ignition is turned on but the fuel pump doesn't spin. Bike will crank over but won't fire since there is no fuel. Didn't pull the plug to see if it was sparking. I only have about 12 hrs on it and have never messed with the electrics but I looked around for a few minutes last night and found 5 fuses (2 big 20A ones off of the + battery terminal on left side of bike and 3 smaller ones on right side of bike) and they were all OK. All connections appear to be OK. Is there something I'm missing or do i need to pull everything apart and start looking for a bad connection somewhere?

The bike didn't sputter or hiccup at all, it was instant and terminal for the night! Mind you the track night ended only a few minutes later as a guy on an SXV550 endoed at the end of the front straight and broke his femur. I feel pretty lucky I just have to find an electrical gremlin rather than heal a femur...

I'm glad you did not break a femur too.

Based on this description I would take the tank off and look at the fuel pump:

Pulled the pump out today and found a broken ground wire connection. Plugged the pump in, turned the key on and held the wire to the connection and the pump spun. Will buy a new connector and put it back together tomorrow and it should be good to go.

Thanks for all of the help!
