2008 TE450 side / kick stand

    Hi, (Not sure if this is in the correct place - if it isn't please move) I have just brought a 2008 TE450 and the side stand is next to useless! The main problem is that when the stand is down the foot is too close to the bike so the bike is too upright. Also the stand seems to go slightly too far forward.
    Does anyone make an aftermarket stand for this bike that is better than the original?

    You are stuck with stock. You could cut and weld to improve it though as some others have done.
