hey I'm having a problem finding an exhaust for my 07, there seems to be lots for 2005-06 and 08+. basically im just looking for a lighter pipe, not to concerned about the make, or the noise just as long as its light and cheap. there's HMF pipes for the 08 on ebay for $275 plus shipping. there's also an arrow pipe for $360 its for 05-06. they look like they will fit but if anyone has more information that would be great.

    Thanks

From what I've read, the leoVince x 3 is only a little over two pounds lighter than the stock can. They were just on sale 2 weeks ago $255 otd

I have an FMF 4.1 that was fit to my TE. It has a bracket that allows it to mount to the proper location on the 610, looks clean and sounded nice. I'd consider selling if your interested.

Not sure, it slips on and looks and sounds good. The PO put it on so I don't know the exact model since FMF doesn't list one for the 610. There's a home made piece that extends to make the stock bracket work. I'd rather find an uptite to match my other 610 so I'd be fine selling. I'll likely be fine keeping too.

I think the PO didn't make the spacers long enough and it puts tension on the midpipe. I tried to show that. The pipe weighed 4 pounds .5oz..... enough less than the uptite at 4 pounds 13 ounces that I'm wondering if I should keep it. Though I don't know that I should care that much. I like the looks of the uptite better. I would say a little more care with the spacing and it will hang well with no tension. It fits the midpipe well. Letting it sit in a natural unstressed position the bracket needs to space further out. The way the PO had it set looks like it caused the midpipe guard to rub on the rear shock and potentially the rear tire could rub with a big knobbie. Okay application adjustment, but poor execution on the bracket fabrication. Easy enough for me to do better. I'll likely figure something out to use the second mount point too.

To sum it up, it's light. It's definitely not made for the 610. The PO did a poor job with the fitment. If I keep it I'll make it much better. I'm sure anyone who cared to could do better too. It does sound good, and the one bit I ran the bike before the winter tear down felt good. I wouldn't mind selling it, but I'd have to see if the uptite I saw for sell was still available.....
