Anyone already playing with an '08 610...

What AFR values have you tried with Power Commander V and AT unit?

Mine is in the mail and just curious what anyone has found success with.

A street/economy AFR number and a trail number would be useful.

Still no power commander here yet....don't bother paying extra for the 2day FedEx. Ordered on Wed, won't be here until Monday.

A note for anyone watching this.

A _lot_ of what I thought was an EFI issue turned out to be too low an idle speed. Yeah, this is probably a dopey no-brainer to many, but I hadn't got to fiddling and checking this out until this weekend.

My idle speed was dipping below 1400. I pulled all my panels to get a look at what is around on the bike and fixed the idle speed while I was at it. I ran it up to 1700 as it seemed nice and smooth there and the difference with all the snatchy throttle issues I was having was really huge. Much easier takeoffs, much nicer off throttle transitions etc. Much easier holding it at very low speeds in 1st and 2nd.

My mileage totally sucks, in the 30's on rough calculations. So I'm sure the power commander and auto tune will come in quite handy to fix that.

Right now I'm getting about 100miles from fuel light to fuel light...way too small a range for me. I really hope I can get to 150 miles to hold me over until safari tanks makes something more like 5 gallons for this bike.

I'll post my results of fiddling once it gets here and is installed...now delayed, possibly for a few weeks due to my weekend schedule coming up.

The optimum AFR level for power is 13.2, and if you want economy buy a honda C90:D

    Heh, yeah 13.2 I've seen.

So what for around town without blowing wet gas out the pipe, 13.9 or 14 or so?
