2008 TXC250 Broken Shift Shaft

    This broke and I can't find a replacement part. I found a used one for a 2009-2012 TE on Ebay and it has the same part number as the 2008 TXC in the OEM parts finder at Husqvarnapartspro.com. Does anyone know of a source for a new one? Or does anyone know if the part is the same across these years? Has anyone had any success with welding it back together?

    The Italian made bikes are great bikes but I'm disappointed with the lack of aftermarket and OEM parts availability.
