Hello all, Im a possibly new convert from the Gasgas world. I recently sold my Gasgas 250 and have been looking at a VERY clean 2008 WR250. I've seen '08 WRs with headlights but the one I am looking at just has a number plate. Does anyone know if these bikes are wired for lighting/have a stator powerful enough to run a light? I was too busy checking other things to see if it was wired for lights or even ask about the charging system.
I think I'm going to go through with the purchase either way but a simple headlight setup would really sweeten the deal.
    Thanks!

My 09 WR250 came with a headlight and has a 55 amp stator. Yours should be the same if it was sold in the USA. I have read on the forum that in other countries the bikes are equipped differently.

That bike should most definitely be equipped with having the headlight option. Look behind the number plate to confirm the wires are there.

While we're on the subject, does anyone recommend a brighter bulb for my 04 WR250?

I have an 2008. I think the the lighting equipment is not dealer installed. The PO gave me the headlight and harness in a box when I bought it. He didn't give me a tail light though...

Hmm. I changed the 35w bulb that came with mine to a 55/60w. The 35w was really bad, the bigger bulb helped a bit, but could allways have more light.
