    So,
Now that we see the new 2010 catalog, what do you guys think of their "race" exhaust systems. I think they look awesome with the carbon fiber end caps AND what looks to be an expansion chamber on the head pipe (just like what Jardine already has). The big question though is will it make more power than say a PC, Jardine, FMF etc ? Obviously nobody knows this motorcycle and how it works better than Husqvarna themselves, SO I would be lead to believe this exhaust would produce more power than any "aftermarket" companies exhaust. What do you guys think?

It should but I never understood why any bike maker would leave HP/Tq on the table unless it's to meet the noise restrictions. Did they show anything for the 2010 TC250?

    Yeah, that's the exhaust I'm talking about...for the 2010 TC 250.

Yes they do for the TC, a full titanium system with a chamber on the head pipe, I can't tell if it says Arrow or LeoVince on it.

For the TE they have two Leo Systems, a full titanium with looks to be a re-mapped ECU. They also show a titanium Leo Silencer with re-mapped ECU(not available). It looks to me like this is the same as the X3 stainless sold here in the U.S. but the ECU would be more chance for power.

I wish I could mix match some parts on there.

Hey Joe thanks but where is the pricing and where can you read about the parts please? All I see is a small pic of the parts. Thanks, John

The one wit the expansion chamber is a titanium Arrow exhaust.

The prices will be in your dealers in about one or two weeks (don´t be surprised by the high prices of the parts!!!), thats what my dealer told me.

Here in Mexico the will sell the Leo Vince Slip on (with the computer, if you look closer, the Leo Vince header looks like the original but in titanium.

Have you see those amazing adjustable triple clamps!!!

Those clamps! I know, I suspect a set of those might find their way onto my new TC 250.....

Has anyone tried one of the titanium exhaust / ECU combos yet?

We were told on 2/21/10 is not available in the USA yet. I think we are going with the HGS full exhaust. At this time we can't find much as far as real numbers on any of the exhaust systems. I just wish I could get MRD to put something together for the new TC's.

I ordered the Leo full titanium exhaust with matching ECU in late November 2009 with a time frame of 2-3 weeks. Dec. 3rd I found out there was a mix up and had to re-order and again told 2-3 weeks. Feb. 2nd I was told 2-3 weeks. I think in 2-3 more weeks I will have it. It is not a good thing when I call out in my sleep 8000H2465 or 8000H2929 for the slip on/ECU. I guess at least now we can see pretty pictures of parts we can not have. If it was not for needing the ECU I would have gone with the HGS. I am sure there will be more hp with the matching ECU.

That sucks and I hope you get the parts soon. Are you going to be putting your new set up on a dyno, before and after?

That's bad news :( - hope yours comes through soon. I was asking because I've just ordered a full system for my TE450 from Husky Sport, and they said as far as they know it should be available from stock at the factory and if so it will be here in about a week. I haven't had confirmation yet so it's still possible it might not be in stock, but I know they've had them through for some of the models as Mike showed me one of the titanium silencers when I was in there a few weeks back (incredibly light - I thought there must be nothing inside!).

There's currently an offer at Husky Sport on 2010 TE250 and TC250s sold in February; TE250s get the Leo Vinci titanium / carbon silencer and ECU, TC250s get an Arrow titanium full system - both free of charge. I've seen one of these on a bike in their showroom so they do have those exhaust systems available at least as part of the deal - from the part number yours looks like the TE250 so hopefully they made enough to sell separately too and yours is on the way. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, I am having the same experience. I ordered the complete adjustable triple clamps and hot start relocator coming up on 3 months ago and STILL haven't seen either of them. The good news though......at least they sent me the adjustable inserts for the triple clamps I don't have...........

    Hey - it's a start. :D

You guys aren't exactly filling me with confidence about the chances of my exhaust turning up any time soon. I'll probably get the mounting clamp in a box on its own with an IOU for the rest...

That worried me enough to call Husky Sport, and apparently the factory said it was in stock and is on the way so it should be here next week.

Only time will tell of course, not wanting to count chickens, tempt fate etc, but it sounds good to me so far!

Which would explain why the oh tens fuel injection is mapped so well

    I think the exact opposite.

OEs tend to be very conservative- they build things for the worst case scenarios, and they want to limit their exposure to liability and risk. The aftermarket guys think differently, take chances and push the envelope. Most OE "hard parts" are private labels from someone else.

I tried ordering a spare front sprocket from Husky- I was told there was not one in the country, special order out of Europe and it would be a month. One month. For a stinking counter sprocket. Its a wear item, WTF? :censored:
