2010 TE/TC 250 ground clearance

    I'm pretty set on buying the new TE 250. I took a test ride yesterday on a closed endurocross circuit and it's a really amazing ride.
    Two issues are bothering me: The first is the 7 liter gas tank, but that can be easily worked around, the second is the ground clearance.
    According to the spec it's 290 mm. In comparison the KTM is 380, the Honda and RMZ are around 350. It's a big difference. The linkage dragged on a log crossing. Is the spec right?

    I ride my 2010 TXC250 in the woods all the time, lots of log crossings. i find the bike feels like it has a lot of ground clearance. The linkage does hang down on the new frame. Mounts the shock lower for low CG.
