2011 Te310 exhaust pipe

    My stock exhaust slip joint badly worn away and leaking . muffler inlet also thin as tinfoil (can easily squeese with fingers. can it be repaired with mig? replacement probably best solution but hate e.bay. shipping to Canada and taxes, duty costs can add up.
    any suggestions,
    2011 te310 at 324.3 hours (11,287 kms, mostly dirt)

    Cut off the end and TIG weld a replacement tube end on. Measure the existing tube OD and wall thickness and find a short piece to buy. Lots of options to get stainless tubing. 304 or 304L should work. Shouldn't be too bad - just make sure everything is very clean with a good fit up. Either back purge or use solar flux b. Should be straightforward to find someone to TIG it if you don't have one.
