250-500cc 2011 wr 300 tank options?

Are there any larger tank options for 2011 wr 300's? If so can stock shrouds be used?

From my searching I think you can fit the IMS 3.4 gal (12.5ltr) tank.
Just gas tanks have it for 244 USD.

Note that the part is not listed for 09 WR300's but it fits. There are pics on this site of it. There is also a clarke tank but if you want the fuel weight sitting lower on the frame get the IMS.

I've just recently fit one to my 2010 WR300



I went for a ride yesterday and didn't notice any different re: weight, width or handling. The only thing I noticed is that I didn't have to worry about fuel for the ride

It would be nice if they made one specifically for the 300 as there's a bit of wasted sapce near the headstem (4 bangers must have higher radiators or something?) and also near the kick start. I reckon they could nearly get another 1.5 - 2 litres without changing the outside dimensions of the tank.

I reckon I need some red stickers for the radiator shrouds as the white tank and black shrouds looks a bit odd.

But I'm pretty happy for now.
