I would rather be posting Helmet camera videos but, I am still retired from racing... This is always a fun event to come watch, usually lots of places to catch the action. The start of the AM race was a parking lot The experts with their game faces on This race always seems to bring out the inner freak in a few... I think Ben's snuggie beats the christmas sweater of 2011... Frozen grass may seem slick, but frozen dirt is slicker, many in the AM class couldn't seem to figure that out and stayed in the main line. Others had it figured out... I have no words... There was traction to be had, Don came around the first few laps really hauling! I saw a Kawi in the lead crash a couple turns before they got to me that might have been Monte McGrath? I wish Jason could have stayed in it until the end, he was moving until a bum knee knocked him out of the race. I am not sure who this was, but he was also up there in the top guys. Dave's bike looks so fresh and so clean, on one side anyway... Joey was on the gas until his home depot ice screws donated themselves to the Washougal soil... DM3 was in the mix also and extremely focused. Rory spotted the leaders a good head start and worked his way forward steadily. Richard Chapman was prepared for a night race...
