I got my parts about 2 months ago and got my recall notice in the mail a couple days ago. thanks to awesome dealers that keep the riders informed (upstate cycle)

Great dealer in Darwin, all sorted with no fuss, in the interim, if you remove all free play in the throttle cable you should mitigate any risk of the issue arising. Have a good look at the issue and make your own call.

Yay I got that the other day and mine is a recalled unit, got to get with my dealer. looks like it includes all 125 to 300 smokers in 2013.

Question: Did the dealership require you to show them the recall letter/notice?
