Hey all, so as i know i sort of have the wrong bike for the job, but i love my CR, and don't want to get rid of her!!! Anyway, i defiantly need a bigger tank, i do about 50-70kms on one tank, but i'd like to go a bit further on a tank. I need recommendations on tanks, and was wondering if anyone in Australia may even have a used one for sale?

Also, i was wondering how do i work out the correct jetting for my bike? Is there a jetting chart somewhere i can read? And with the gearing, (i believe stock is 12/51?...) will a 53 on the back with the stock front sprocket cause me to be shifting it way too much? I like to do slow riding, and have been trying to do slow wheelies (like Graham Jarvis) but she just doesn't have the grunt!

more mileage required? get a lectron carb.

that one improves the nr considerably

I did run 12-52 and it does give you mountain goat ability yet the 125 still does have that 2 stroke peaky character (hard to change that with gearing)

I have now a 165 with fatty (different character) and run with 13-51, more mountain goat DNA

Dude I thought u were sellin the huskys n buyin an RMX?! U change ya mind more than I change me jocks!

Get a wr tank or an ims may be cheaper. It's a 125 so never have heaps of bottom end. Get a 165? 13/52 bout best I've found 12/51 must make first completely useless!

Cheers. Where abouts do you get a 165 kit from and what type of cash did you pay for it?

Ok thanks for that. the bloke who wanted to buy my 125 pulled out and is just now ignoring me so i may as well keep the it!

Also question for both of you, i found a 2006 TE510 LR tank on ebay ( http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/28208308...5aa4233e46b&bu=44547072428&cp=1&sojTags=bu=bu ) and was wondering if it'd fit on my CR?

No it won't. Post 09 bikes(bar 250/300 2ts n 449/511) use same frame. Ims make a tank to fit that same size as wr tank. 165 kit prob around $800-$1000 dependent.

Yep. I've had an IMS 3 gallon tank on both my 2009 and 2014 cr125.
With the 165 and Lectron I can safely get 70-80 miles.
